Balm 2003 ~ March 16 2003 2003 was our best year ever, without a doubt. All TKD took place on Sunday. We were busy from 9:30 through 6:30 with forms and sparring, color and black belts. Clubs from many locations around BC & Washington state participated. Kukkiwon, ITF, Songham and Global TKD styles were represented and all did extremely well under the Olympic sparring rules. At least 6 additional schools over last year were in attendance. ~ DW TEAM

Sirota's Child & Youth Tournament 2003 April 26, 2003 Held in Richmond at Master Michael Sirota's Alchymy Martial Arts School. Turnout was pretty good, but enthusiasm was awesome. Players from around BC converged here April 26 for sparring, forms, self-defense and breaking. Divisions were also arranged for students with special needs. Some dignitaries in attendance were Master Dawn Lefebvre of Whistler, Master Arsalan Azizi of Vancouver, Vieng Sihalathavong and Master Daniel Witt, President of BC Taekwondo Association . Besides 4 medal winners per category a trophy was presented to the event grand champion. ~ DW Pics |
